On a windy but sunny afternoon, Milan was searching among the bushes when he noticed a strange, crumpled piece of paper. The paper was yellowish, its edges torn, and it looked like someone had drawn on it in a hurry. "Zente, look what I found!" he shouted excitedly, waving the paper in the air. Zente, who was just trying to get a bug to climb onto his stick, ran over at once. Together they examined the drawings, the strange arrows, and the big red Xs. "This is a real treasure map!" Zente declared, eyes shining. "It must have been left by a pirate, or a secret agent!"
At first, the big kids wanted to go after the treasure alone, but Zalán and Kende, who were playing in the sandbox, overheard the excited whispers and curiously crept over. "Can we come too? To look for treasure?" Zalán asked hopefully, while Kende nodded beside him. Milan and Zente exchanged glances. "Well... this will be a very dangerous mission," Milan began seriously. "But if you're really clever and help, then maybe..." Zente added, after seeing Zita and Borka's encouraging looks from the terrace. "You two will be the map keepers!" he finally ordered. Zalán and Kende jumped for joy.
The first arrow on the map led to the sandbox, with a big X marking the center. "We have to dig here!" Zente said, handing a toy shovel to Kende. Zalán helped with a small bucket. They dug enthusiastically, sand flying everywhere, until Kende's shovel hit something hard. They carefully lifted it out: it was an old, shiny, gold-colored button that Zita had lost while sewing last week. "That's it! The first gold coin!" Zalán shouted triumphantly, proudly showing off the "treasure."
They stuck a little note on the back of the button: "Where laughter is loud and the wind is fast, the next secret awaits." "The slide!" Milan said. Zente shot up to the top of the slide and slid down. At the bottom, in the grass, he found another message hidden under a small stone: "Follow the buzzing friend who mows the grass, and it will lead you to the next stop!"
"Robi! The robotic lawnmower!" the boys shouted almost at once. They carefully followed Robi, who was heading to the far end of the garden. Robi, as if he knew his job, stopped by a big lilac bush and "left" a small, colorful box there. The kids excitedly opened it: inside was another message. "On top of the jumpy-bumpy, if you jump well, the reward will come!"
Next was the trampoline. The task was for all four of them to jump at the same time and shout their favorite animal in the air. Milan and Zente did professional somersaults, Zalán jumped enthusiastically, and Kende bounced carefully. After the group shout, a new little box appeared in the middle of the trampoline, which Zita had secretly placed there. Inside was a riddle: "What is in every family, but only grows if you share it?" The kids thought, then Kende quietly said, "Love!" Everyone clapped, and in the box they found a shared "treasure": an old family photo with all of them in it, and a big bar of chocolate.
At the end of the hunt, Gergő and Tibi returned from playing squash and joined the chocolate feast on the terrace. "Did you find the treasure?" Gergő asked with a smile. "Yes!" Milan shouted. "But the greatest treasure was searching together!" Zalán added proudly, "And I was the jumpy-bumpy king!" The family laughed as they planned the next treasure hunt, while the sun slowly set, bathing the garden in golden light, where the greatest treasure—love and togetherness—filled every corner.
