Zita, the Rose Quartz, and the Sand Cake Mystery

It was a warm, lazy summer afternoon, and the pleasant, smoky aroma of Gergő’s afternoon barbecue still lingered in the air. The two neighboring families were enjoying the peace of the garden—or at least the appearance of it. Zita had just returned from a trigger point training in Budapest, bringing not only new massage techniques but also a beautiful, palm-sized rose quartz. She felt the crystal had a mission.

"Imagine, this rose quartz is the stone of love and harmony!" she explained enthusiastically to the others sitting on the terrace, carefully turning the smooth, pink stone in her hand. "I've decided to place it at one of the garden's energy points to balance the vibrations and bring peace... especially to Milan and Zente's endless arguments." Gergő grunted skeptically from the grill. "I'm sure it'll be great, dear. Just don't let it get under the lawnmower's wheel." Tibi eyed the stone anxiously. "Is it swallowable? It looks a bit big, but Kende..." "Oh, Tibi, come on!" Borka waved him off. "We'll keep an eye on it. Go ahead, Zita, I'm curious if it works."

Zita chose a spot in the middle of the garden, next to a big lavender bush, and carefully placed the rose quartz on the grass. For a moment, she closed her eyes, imagining pink light spreading from the stone. The children immediately gathered around. "Pretty stone!" Zalán shouted. Kende toddled over and gently touched it. "Do you think it can fly?" Milan asked Zente. "I don't think so," Zente replied seriously. "But I bet it can shoot lasers! It'll be perfect if the zombies come!"

At that moment, Gergő's phone beeped. "Oh, the printer! The hubcaps for Dagi are printing, but I need to change the color, I'll be right back!" and he ran into the house. Tibi's gaze was fixed on Kende, who was suspiciously close to the rose quartz. Zita was telling Borka something about the training.

That few seconds of inattention was just enough. Kende suddenly grabbed the shiny stone and toddled back to the sandbox, where he and Zalán were making "cakes."

Kende tried to quickly bury the stone in sand before anyone noticed.

A few minutes later, Zita returned to the lavender bush. She was surprised to see the crystal was gone. She didn't panic, just took a deep breath. Calm, harmony... it must have just rolled away. She looked around, but couldn't find it anywhere.

She went to the children. "Did you see the pretty pink stone I put here?" "I didn't!" Milan shook his head. "Zente must have shot it into space with a laser to test it!" "No way!" Zente protested. "Milan kicked a ball over there, it must have hit it and it flew into the bush!"

Zalán pointed at the robotic lawnmower, which was just passing by. "Robi is hungry! He ate it!" Zita saw this wasn't getting anywhere. She called the others. Gergő had just returned after a successful color change. "The crystal's missing? No problem, I'll check the security camera!" Gergő offered confidently. He took out his phone, opened the app, but the camera image was strangely blurry in the middle of the garden. "Darn! Looks like a bird just dropped something on the lens! Right now... I hadn't even noticed until now!"

Tibi's face turned worried again. "I hope Kende isn't trying to eat it! You know he puts everything in his mouth these days! Maybe he already swallowed it?"

Borka had enough of the confusion. "Alright, let's not guess! Let's search systematically! Kids, everyone check your own toys, maybe it just rolled away! Gergő, check around the grill, maybe someone kicked it there! Tibi, check under the bushes! Zita, you... well, do what you usually do."

Zita took out her pendulum. "Quiet, please, I'm trying to tune in..." she murmured, and began to walk slowly. The pendulum swung toward the waterworks box, then the compost, and finally started swinging decisively toward the sandbox. "Strong sand energy... or maybe... cake energy?" Zita went closer to the sandbox. She noticed Kende proudly showing off a particularly large and slightly lopsided sand cake. Zita leaned in curiously. Something pink sparkled under the sand, in the middle of the cake. She carefully dug it out: there was the rose quartz, a bit sandy but unharmed. "Got it!" Zita laughed to the others. "Looks like Kende thought it was the perfect decoration for the vegan sand cake! The stone of harmony in the cake!"

There was much laughter and relief. Tibi was glad the stone hadn't ended up in Kende's stomach. Zita cleaned off the stone. "See? Kende felt the stone's positive energy too, just... used it creatively. But I think it'll be better if we hang it on the tree." She pointed to a strong branch of a nearby tree. "That way, harmony can spread over the whole garden. And at least the kids can't use it to bake cakes," Gergő added quietly. Gergő found a piece of string and helped Zita tie the stone safely to a high branch only he could reach with a ladder. The rose quartz sparkled in the setting sun. The family was at peace, the crystal was safe, and the children returned to their play. The garden's energy balance (maybe) was restored—at least until the next adventure.
